NQA advises a number of Flemish study programmes and gave a second opinion regarding the question: Are substantive arguments by Flemish audit panels sufficiently compatible with Dutch jurisprudence on this level.
NQA supports Flemish education institutes in writing self-evaluation reports and trains study programme management, teachers and others to use the accreditation system, the assessment framework and the so-called NVAO jurisprudence. 
The external assessments of officially registered Flemish institutes may only be carried out by the Vlaamse Interuniversitaire Raad or the Vlaamse Hogescholenraad. Dutch VBI’s are excluded from these assessments.
